I was walking in the neighborhood and we met up with a neighbor from three houses down the street. They have a shaggy sort of sheepdog/collie/?? mix whom I've met before but we've never been fond of each other. I call him The Pissing Dog because he pisses on our trash and recycling containers.
This time, while we were talking with the neighbor, the dog was there and I gave him the basic head-neck-back scritch. Well, something clicked with him and he latched onto my leg like a professional. We all laughed it off but I wonder if it was another example of a zoo-trained dog showing off his learning unexpectedly.
