Hello everybody. Those of you from the old forum will know that I posted a message there about suggestions of how I could convince my mom to allow me to keep my dog as she is and not get her spayed. My mom believes that spaying is the only way to go. Sydney, my doggy (the little one in my avatar) is the one that I want to keep from being spayed. I don't believe in spaying. I feel that it is wrong. Well tonight I am happy to report to all of you that she will not be spayed. The decision was left in my hands. There wasn't even an argument over it. I told all of you that I would let you know as soon as I had the conversation so here it is she will not be spayed. I am very happy and I thank all of you for your help. I do have another question now and that is what am I to expect. When will she first come into heat and how long does it last. She is a German Shepherd. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
